Christina Aguilera continues to spin out of control.
TMZ reports that the star, 30, was arrested early Tuesday morning in West Hollywood -- along with her boyfriend, Matthew Rutler.
The "Not Myself Tonight" singer was arrested at 2:45 a.m. and booked on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication. Rutler, 25, was arrested for driving under the influence. According to the L.A. Times, Aguilera is in the process of being released on $250 bail.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department set Rutler's bail at $30,000.
Law enforcement sources tell us Aguilera appeared to be "extremely intoxicated" and was "unable to take care of herself."
However, the source adds, "If the driver had NOT been arrested for DUI, [Christina] would have never been in trouble."
