LuAnn & Ramona Battle It Out Tomorrow Night!

On tomorrow night's episode of the Real Housewives of New York City, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps sits down with Ramona Singer to discuss why she didn't participate in her 'Chic C'est La Vie' music video.

"I'm very proud of you for doing it, but I have a daughter. I'm a role model," was Ramona's response. "I'm a mother and I raise my daughter differently than you."

Countess asks, "What is that supposed to mean?"

"I spend a lot of time with her," Singer explains. "That's why she is the way she is. She's a great girl and I'm very lucky."

Never lacking a good come-back, the Countess responds, "It is amazing how she turned out, I can tell you that."

Fighting words! Don't forget to watch the new episode of the Real Housewives of New York City tomorrow night at 10:00PM on Bravo.

LuAnn Annoyed By Jill For Offering Music Advice

On tonight's episode of Real Housewives of New York, we get to see Countess LuAnn as she heads to the recording studio to listen to her single and make some finishing touches with the producer.

Where's the drama in that, you may ask? She invites Jill to join her -- and she does a little more than sit back and listen.

“The words are great, but I think if you are going for the club market, more dance,” Jill suggests. “It sounds like chorus, dance, chorus, dance — and maybe it should be dance, chorus, dance, chorus. I don’t know. I’m just saying I want to hear you sing, but I also want to be able to dance. I don’t want to dance over your singing.”

“I love Jill, and Jill loves to take over as my manager, but I don’t think Chris really wanted her advice on how to mix his music,” she told cameras.

See for yourself how it all goes down tonight on the Real Housewives of New York City at 10:00PM on Bravo.

The same day that Countess LuAnn de Lesseps debuted her music video for "Chic C'est La Vie," she showed off a brand new blonde, longer 'do!

"I wanted to try something new," the Real Housewives of New York star said. "I've always wanted to be blonde. Every girl dreams of being blonde some time."

"I wanted to look like Marilyn Monroe for a minute!" she explained. "I'm definitely going to keep the new look for awhile."

And even though her boyfriend Jacques Azoulay prefers her as a brunette, he's still "having fun with this other woman."

http://www-hollywoodlife-com.vimg.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/053111_luann_de_lesseps_544110531162759.jpg

Countess LuAnn is livin’ the life. The Bravo reality star jetted off to the Hamptons over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate the opening of the lavish new nightclub, SL East. The club’s inauguration was held on May 28 and featured DJ Chachi on the turntables fellow stars Russell Simmons, Lance Bass, and Gossip Girl’s Matthew Settle and a special performance by Dawn and Kaleena of Diddy Dirty Money, who according to one source had club-goers on their feet throughout the late hours of the night as they performed their new single, “I’m Coming Home” among other hits.SL East, the newest club by prominent New York hospitality company EMM Group, is located in East Hampton and boasts a traditional New York-style nightclub. The 7,000-square-foot venue is sure to indulge any party-goer with its sleek decor, extravagant light fixtures, and state-of-the-art sound system.

The main room is innovated with plush banquettes and a center row aptly called “the catwalk.” There’s no doubt the Countess and friends had any problem partying with her friends as the design of the room ensures guests can take in the club’s every extraordinary element at any vantage point.

The opening of SL East is a great way to start off the summer, but celebrities like LuAnn will have to make great use of the stunning social scene before the club closes on Labor Day.

LuAnn Talks Late Friends; Travel Etiquette

http://images.nymag.com/images/2/daily/2009/01/20090114_ludunondepress_250x375.jpgWhen it comes to etiquette, manners and overall good behavior, even celebrities need help navigating the rough waters of stardom! It’s a good thing Countess LuAnn de Lesseps of the Real Housewives of New York is joining forces with OK! to school them on the right thing to do! In a rough situation, we just ask, “What Would the Countess Do?” This week the Countess discusses a royal diss and firming up for summer.

How do you deal with a friend who is perpetually late?
We all have a friend (or two) who is always late. One way to get your friend back on schedule is to give her a time to arrive that is at least fifteen minutes to half an hour before the actual meet time. Another approach is to stop waiting on your perpetually late friend and begin whatever you had planned without her. Nobody likes to be left behind, so that may cure her of her tardy ways!

Tip: Build enough time in your schedule for life’s inevitable delays!

The ladies of Real Housewives of New York traveled to Morocco together. What’s important etiquette rules to follow when you’re traveling to another country with a large group?
When traveling with a large group in a foreign country, it’s very important to respect the culture and manners of your hosts by dressing appropriately and by learning a few basic conversational phrases before you go. Knowing how to say “hello,” “goodbye,” “please” and “thank you” will smooth your way with the locals. If you decide to go sightseeing without your entourage, let someone know where you’ll be and when you’ll return and always carry the address of your hotel so that if you get lost, you can ask directions.

Tip: A little research goes a long way to show respect for your host country.

Sonja Confuses Snake Venom for Semen

When it comes to snakes, Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan is no expert.

When she and her castmates visit a snake charmer in Morocco, the 47-year-old reality star quickly notices that the snake is secreting a clear liquid.

"Is that venom or semen?" a confused Morgan asks.

"It's venom," LuAnn de Lesseps informs her.

Though their costars Jill Zarin and Alex McCord happily pose for photos with the reptile, Ramona Singer, Cindy Barshop and Kelly Bensimon are less enthusiastic about meeting the serpent.

"It freaked me out," Bensimon, 42, says. "Get the snake with the venom away!"

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Thursday on Bravo at 10 p.m. EST.

LuAnn On Combining Families & Memorial Day

It’s a good thing Countess LuAnn de Lesseps of the Real Housewives of New York is joining forces with OK! to school them on the right thing to do! In a rough situation, we just ask, “What Would the Countess Do?” This week the Countess discusses a royal diss and firming up for summer.

Any tips on combining families — whether it’s becoming a step-mom to your new husband’s kids, or dealing with your children having a new stepparent?
Today’s families often include children from past marriages and relationships and the blending process can be challenging. The best advice I can give to new stepparents is to relax and not force yourself on your spouse’s kids. Never criticize their birth parent or expect that they will love you. Instead, be happy if you can establish a harmonious and trusting relationship built on friendship.

Tip: Your stepchildren will come to respect and admire you if you give them time to adjust to their new situation.

How to throw a classy Memorial Day party that’s fun for kids as well as the adults — any tips to keep it elegant without feeling stuffy?
Memorial Day is one of my favorite holidays and I love to have friends over to BBQ. If you are inviting kids to your party, have activities for them like badminton, swimming, croquet or volleyball and make sure that you serve kid friendly foods and drinks. For the adults, I serve fun cocktails, like mojitos and watermelon martinis and I always have chilled salads and grilled chicken or steak.

Tip: When serving dinner outside, keep it simple and keep it chilled! Use non-breakable plates and glasses in fun, festive colors.

New York Housewives Want To Make You Sweat

The stars of Real Housewives of New York City get plenty of exercise shopping, pointing fingers, flipping their hair and catfighting. But sometimes, they've got to do a little bit more to really feel the burn.

Out promoting NBCUniversal's Healthy Step-a-Thon in Times Square, Kelly Bensimon, Jill Zarin, Ramona Singer, Alex McCord, Cindy Barshop and Countess LuAnn de Lesseps opened up about the workout and diet routines they follow to maintain their—love 'em or hate 'em—toned and slim selves.

"I do work out a lot compared to some people," LuAnn says, describing her Pilates-tennis-crosstraining routine.

And whether it's Ramona's attempt to work out in heels, Jill promoting her new line of shapewear or Cindy showing off her Jimmy Choo sneakers and emphasizing the importance of spray tans (instead of real ones) and drinking lots of water, all of the regimens sound about right for the Housewife in question.

"If I walk home, that'll be the best exercise ever, but I'll probably take a car service," laughed Jill.

"It's definitely bikini time, so it's not just about being fit, it's about looking hot," Kelly admitted.
