LuAnn & Ramona Battle It Out Tomorrow Night!

On tomorrow night's episode of the Real Housewives of New York City, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps sits down with Ramona Singer to discuss why she didn't participate in her 'Chic C'est La Vie' music video.

"I'm very proud of you for doing it, but I have a daughter. I'm a role model," was Ramona's response. "I'm a mother and I raise my daughter differently than you."

Countess asks, "What is that supposed to mean?"

"I spend a lot of time with her," Singer explains. "That's why she is the way she is. She's a great girl and I'm very lucky."

Never lacking a good come-back, the Countess responds, "It is amazing how she turned out, I can tell you that."

Fighting words! Don't forget to watch the new episode of the Real Housewives of New York City tomorrow night at 10:00PM on Bravo.

Ramona Says It's "So Sad" Jill Makes Up Stories

Credit: Wire Image (Jerritt Clark)

This weekend in the Hamptons, the ongoing feud between Real Housewives of New York's Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin came to blows. Ramona's husband Mario Singer reportedly confronted Jill and things got so heated that Bobby Zarin had to intervene.

After these reports had surface, Jill Zarin's rep contacted E! News and simply stated, "Sadly, this story is accurate."

This morning, however, Ramona Singer spoke with them denying the claims. "So not true," Ramona said. "Did they talk? Yes. Then she, Jill, walked away." She continued, "Jill has her reps make up exaggerated stories about me as this is the only way she can get press. So sad, isn't it?"

Ramona Singer: I Dont Have a Drinking Problem

http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2011/news/110613/ramona-singer-300.jpgEvery Real Housewives of New York fan knows Ramona Singer loves Pinot Grigio, but does she have a drinking problem?

"Do I overdrink? No. I drink with responsibility," Ramona told In the Mixx at a recent event for Hamptons Magazine at the Southampton Social Club. "I drink with a beautiful dinner. I would rather have my one or two glasses of Pinot Grigio than dessert which is 700 calories."

Though she admits her name has become synonymous with the white wine, she's using that to her advantage with her own line, Ramona Pinot Grigio.

And besides, the 54-year-old explains, drinking comes with being a Real Housewife.

"All I can say is, we're filmed in social events. If you look at anytime I have a drink in my hand, look what LuAnn [de Lesseps] is drinking. The other people are drinking," Ramona said. "The only person who doesn't drink is Jill [Zarin]. She only drinks Diet Coke – and you wonder why? But anyway, all the other Housewives shows – they're all drinking."

Does it bother her that her costars, like Jill, have said they worry about her drinking? Or that she's portrayed on the show as always wanting a glass of her beloved wine?

"I actually said to Bravo, I called them up I said, 'Wait, is the story line so bad you have to make [my drinking] a story line? Because you know I don't have a drinking problem,' " she said.

She also noted: "I've been on the show for four years. How can I have five businesses, be married 19 years, have a daughter who's a straight-A student? I cannot even be a ... functioning alcoholic if I had all of this stuff going on. It would be impossible. Do you ever see me fall down on TV? Do you ever see me slur my speech? Absolutely not. Do I have a drink or two with dinner? Absolutely."

Ramona Singer Explains Her Breakdown

http://www.celebrityviplounge.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/ramona_singer.jpgRamona Singer sits down with Life & Style to address the drinking, her nasty fight with Jill Zarin-- and rumors that her husband is cheating

In an explosive fight in the upcoming June 2 episode of Real Housewives of New York City, things get so intense with Ramona Singer and estranged friend Jill Zarin that Ramona is left in hysterics in her hotel room. "Jill had a lot of venom coming at me," Ramona divulges to Life & Style in an exclusive interview. "That's what got me so upset." But with speculations of her drinking problem and a cheating husband, news delivered to her by a fortune teller, was it more than Jill that made her snap?

Despite having her own brand of wine, Ramona Pinot Grigio, she fights allegations of being an alcoholic: "I don't drink more or less than anyone else, and I drink responsibly. Was I tipsy in Morocco that first night? Absolutely! You're jet-lagged, so the alcohol hits you a little. But was I slurring my words? No."

And the seer's prediction could drive anyone to drink, but again Ramona balks at the nonsense of her husband cheating. "I'm happily married for 19 years. Do I flirt with other men? Absolutely. Does my husband enjoy looking at another woman who's gorgeous? Absolutely. He's a male -- he'd better. It means his testosterone is still working! "

Ramona Singer: Jill 'Exaggerates' Her Wealth

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/41311-jill-zarin-ramona-singer-locked-in-twitter-and-facebook-war/1305911790_jill-ramona-290.jpgReal Housewives of New York's Ramona Singer appeared on Thursday's (May 27) episode of Watch What Happens: Live and fans voted her the No. 1 housewife who should have her passport taken away after the show's first episode in Morocco.

And the truth is she deserved the title. From her constant complaining on the car ride from the airport about the country's dust and poverty to asking the service to help her unpack her bags, Ramona could have been, well, a little less "Ramotional" while in Morocco. Though, she says cast mate and the trip's organizer, LuAnn de Lesseps, set her up.

"LuAnn tried to make me seem rude," Ramona says on the show. "What happened was she said, 'Dahling, dahling, we have all this staff that will do anything for you.' I go, 'Great, I could use some help unpacking my bags,' because I had packed a s**tload of clothing because she didn't tell me what to pack."

Nice try, Ramona, but you have two arms, diva.

But, it was what Jill Zarin said about her own friend, Brad, that really got Ramona (and lots of viewers) steamed. Jill had told Brad she'd be in Morocco, since he supposedly owns a home there. But once she arrived at a party at his "home," Jill told the cameras that Brad was lying and that the place was actually a Bed and Breakfast Inn he was passing off as his own. Was that necessary, Jill?

Ramona didn't think so and thought Jill should be the last person to talk about someone else exaggerating their wealth.

"Jill loves to exaggerate," Ramona says. "You know she sold her house four years ago and she pretended on the show that she owned the house. She rented it. She pretended she owned a yellow Ferrari and she rented it for one week and said, 'Oh, Bobby bought it for me.'"

Sonja Confuses Snake Venom for Semen

When it comes to snakes, Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan is no expert.

When she and her castmates visit a snake charmer in Morocco, the 47-year-old reality star quickly notices that the snake is secreting a clear liquid.

"Is that venom or semen?" a confused Morgan asks.

"It's venom," LuAnn de Lesseps informs her.

Though their costars Jill Zarin and Alex McCord happily pose for photos with the reptile, Ramona Singer, Cindy Barshop and Kelly Bensimon are less enthusiastic about meeting the serpent.

"It freaked me out," Bensimon, 42, says. "Get the snake with the venom away!"

New York Housewives Want To Make You Sweat

The stars of Real Housewives of New York City get plenty of exercise shopping, pointing fingers, flipping their hair and catfighting. But sometimes, they've got to do a little bit more to really feel the burn.

Out promoting NBCUniversal's Healthy Step-a-Thon in Times Square, Kelly Bensimon, Jill Zarin, Ramona Singer, Alex McCord, Cindy Barshop and Countess LuAnn de Lesseps opened up about the workout and diet routines they follow to maintain their—love 'em or hate 'em—toned and slim selves.

"I do work out a lot compared to some people," LuAnn says, describing her Pilates-tennis-crosstraining routine.

And whether it's Ramona's attempt to work out in heels, Jill promoting her new line of shapewear or Cindy showing off her Jimmy Choo sneakers and emphasizing the importance of spray tans (instead of real ones) and drinking lots of water, all of the regimens sound about right for the Housewife in question.

"If I walk home, that'll be the best exercise ever, but I'll probably take a car service," laughed Jill.

"It's definitely bikini time, so it's not just about being fit, it's about looking hot," Kelly admitted.

Jill & Ramona Locked in Twitter/Facebook War

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/41311-jill-zarin-ramona-singer-locked-in-twitter-and-facebook-war/1305911790_jill-ramona-290.jpgJill Zarin and Ramona Singer are at war, this time on Facebook and Twitter!

After Thursday night's episode of Real Housewives of New York, the two took their beef to their social media platforms and began battling it out virtually.

Although Zarin, 47, and Singer, 54, have had a tumultuous relationship as of late, the real drama ensued when Singer showed up at Zarin's charity lunch toting a crate of her own pinot grigio, under what she claimed was a request from Zarin's assistant. The two went head-to-head at the door.

"When Jill saw the wine in my arms, she asked why did I brought it," Singer penned in her BravoTV blog Friday. "I said 'your assistant asked me to.' She replied, 'No, he did not,' and I was flabbergasted. 'Do I need to show you the email he sent me?' I replied and she just stormed away. Once again, Jill gets caught in a lie. I have finally realized that she is a pathological liar. She will just outright lie to make herself look good and make someone else look bad."

In true "ramotional" fashion, Singer tweeted on Thursday night: "If you want to see proof of Jill's lies check out my Facebook page tomorrow morning!"

Then, on Friday, she posted an email from the former assistant -- Darren Bettencourt --on her Facebook page with the caption: "On last night's episode, Jill denied that I was ever asked to bring wine to serve to the ladies at the charity lunch. Please see the emails between our assistants confirming just that! Another Jill lie..."

Before Singer's blog went up, Zarin tweeted, "I am sure Ramona's big surprise is something to do with my assistant. She doesn't know what I asked him to do and what he TOLD me."

Zarin followed up: "I will respond to Ramona's PROOF in my next newsletter. Sign up at jillzarin.com."

Bettencourt, who is now Zarin's manager, told Us Weekly: “The wine was always meant for the silent auction. The emails that [Ramona] posted are taken completely out of context. I can tell you that I spoke with Ramona’s assistant and she knew fully that the wine was not being brought there to serve for the guests. Her assistant left me a crazy email that I couldn’t understand, that’s why I sent the initial email. When Ramona showed up with the wine she had every intention of drinking it, while we were under the impression that it was for the auction, to raise money for charity. We didn’t even have the right glasses to serve wine in.”

The NY Housewives Cast Could Be Replaced

http://www.radaronline.com/sites/radaronline.com/files/imagecache/350width/NUP_142873_1216.jpgLook out Jill, Ramona, LuAnn, and Alex -- according to a new report, you're all on the chopping block.

Bravo executives were so overwhelmed with the success of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills -- their season finale was the highest-rated episodes in Housewives history -- they're looking at revamping the NYC franchise with all super-wealthy women with over-the-top lifestyles.

Producers believe that the hotel-sized mansions, stretch limos, diamonds, private jets, and record-setting divorce settlements that are part of the Bev Hills housewives' world, that made the show so appealing. They think the NYC show would perform better with that same feel.

So if you have Adrienne Maloof of Camille Grammer-size bank accounts, live in Manhattan, and have always wanted to be on reality TV, you may be in luck, reports The New York Post.

"We're always casting for new housewives in every city," a Bravo rep conceded to The Post. Would the cable net do a wholesale housecleaning and start the NYC show over with an entirely new cast? "We've never done that before," is all the rep would say.

Friends Applaud NeNe For Quitting 'Apprentice'

http://craignj.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/nene-leakes.jpgWith celebrities, respected journalists and interest groups lobbing the racist label at Donald Trump, friends of Nene Leakes tell Rob Shuter of Pop Eater that quitting Celebrity Apprentice in a shocking -- and low-rated -- episode on Sunday was a smart, principled move.

"Everything will ultimately work out for NeNe," a friend of the Real Housewives of Atlanta star tells him. "In the long run she was much better off to quit and walk away than get a job with Donald Trump."

It should be noted that each celebrity is playing to raise money for their charity rather than get a job within Trump's organization. It should also be noted that the Celebrity Apprentice you're seeing on Sundays was taped months ago, before The Donald's now-floundering bid for the White House and string of attacks on President Obama that many believe reek of racism.

CBS news anchor Bob Schieffer hit Donald recently after he raised doubts about President Obama's school grades. "That's just code for saying he got into law school because he's black," he said. "This is an ugly strain of racism that's running through this whole thing."

Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Cosby, Robert De Niro, Rosie O'Donnell and David Letterman have also spoken out.

The political advocacy group Color of Change has called on all black cast members to boycott the show and one fired "applicant" told Shuter that they would shun the finale if their contract didn't stipulate they had to be there.

On Monday morning, Donald appeared on FOX News to try and dispel the charges he's racist.

"I am the least racist person there is," he said. "And I think most people who know me would tell you that. I am the least racist, I've had great relationships."

NeNe's fellow 'Housewife' (well, from NYC) Ramona Singer isn't buying it.

"Well, anyone who makes a racist remark is showing their opinion and where their mind is at," Ramona tells him.

Ramona Singer: Bethenny Didn't Make $120 Mill

Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer has just released her own wine, but isn't a fan of Bethenny Frankel's Skinnygirl Margarita and doesn't believe for a second that the ex-wife really snagged $120 million for her company.

"Oh no, she likes to exaggerate," Ramona tells Rob Shuter on his HDNet show. "It's rumored, remember? It didn't say fact. Rumored."

Rumored as in the Hollywood Reporter citing insiders that have placed her deal to sell the Skinnygirl coctail line to Beam Global for a cool $120 mil.

"I was thinking before that figure came out she got about $30 million total," Ramona said. "And divided that between her and her partners David, and usually they do a pay out, they don't give you the money up front, they pay you out over time."

Ramona who likes to tell it like it is, says Jill Zarin has changed the most since the show started filming its fourth season on Bravo. "She's become quite full of herself. I'm the same. I'm a little unedited, a little bit of an unfiltered mouth. I don't talk behind your back, I talk about you right to your face."
