Kelly Bensimon Not Sure If She'll Be Returning

The fourth season of the Real Housewives of New York came to a close last night, and one cast mate isn't sure she'll be returning for the franchises' fifth season.

“I don’t even know if I’m coming back,” Kelly Bensimon told Boston Herald's Inside Track. “None of us are for sure. It’s up to Bravo and casting. They may want to switch it up and change the game.”

Even if she doesn't come back, she is grateful for what the show and Bravo have given her during her run on the hit show.

“I think the best thing I’ve gotten out of it is that when most women get divorced, it’s a daunting moment. I think getting divorced and being single and responsible for two children is a lot, emotionally and financially,” said Bensimon. “I think the greatest thing about it is it’s afforded me the luxury to reinvent myself, and do something out of the box. Bravo has afforded me an entirely new life at 43.”

Of the 2 part reunion special, Kelly said: “Our reunion shows are a free-for-all. It’s nice to be like ‘You’re lying.’ ”

Kelly Bensimon Defends Her Playboy Body

Kelly Bensimon isn't shy about her great body and has no regrets posing naked for Playboy last March. In fact, the 43-year-old author and jewelry designer thinks an upside of baring all some in the lad mag was that she showed people, including her daughters, that you don't have to be stick-thin to be happy and healthy.

"I showed like 80 percent. A little boobie, a little butt, ankles," she told Rob Shuter on his HDNet show. "The pictures actually make me look thinner than I was at the time. I really ate a lot. I wanted to be my normal body shape. I wanted to look like myself. Everyone else was on a diet and I was like, 'No! I want to be myself' ... Before that I was in a horse show, I was riding and running a lot. And being on 'Housewives' was really stressful for me and I just wanted to show that healthy is hot."

She later adds, "I think some people were wondering ... I have two kids, isn't that bad? But I think no; I want my kids to be happy and healthy and later on in their lives, be sexy and have fun. I don't want them to think that having an eating disorder is cool, because it's not!"

And it wasn't just for her body image that Kelly decided to pose naked, it was also to exact sweet revenge on Bethenny Frankel and the other 'Housewives' she believed bullied her on the show.

"I think the ladies were shocked by it," she told Shuter. "I think they thought, 'We tried to take you down and now you are doing Playboy, what?! And now I have Playboy so they are like, 'Wait a minute. This is not working!'"

Kelly Bensimon Wants Marriage And A Baby

Kelly Bensimon went to Morocco on what she calls the "trip of a lifetime," but she could just as easily call it a life-changing trip.

During a birthday party there, the Real Housewives of New York City star met with a psychic – and got a pretty major prediction on the episode which aired last week.

"The psychic in French tells me I think too much, and that I am going to get married and I am going to have a baby," Bensimon, who has two daughters, Sea Louis, 12, and Thaddeus Ann, 10, told In the Mixx at Hamptons Magazine's Memorial Day Party at the Southampton Social Inn. "This year I'm not going to have a baby but I'm going to be pregnant and I'm going to get married."

According to Kelly, her sit-down with the fortuneteller at the party wasn't just another parlor game. "I'm on it. I'm like, 'Okay, I'm doing my work. I have to start,' " she said. "Yes, I want to get married and have a baby."

Bensimon finds hope in other women who've made their dreams come true. "Just the other day we hear that Kim Kardashian is engaged," Kelly said. "She is so unbelievable and I have so much respect for her. And to be honest with you I'm not that jealous of many people – I'm just not a jealous person – but the fact that she's so happy and engaged and found true love [with NBA star Kris Humphries], I'm jealous. I am."

"It's amazing," Kelly continued. I'm just so happy for her ... She's wanted it, and that's just so exciting for her."

Kelly Bensimon: “I Don’t Need to Be a Bitch”

Just because Kelly Bensimon is on the Real Housewives of NYC doesn’t mean she has scores to settle.

“I don’t have any enemies,” Kelly tells me Wednesday at the Fragrance Foundation’s FiFi Awards held at Lincoln Center in NYC . “I like everybody. I am Miss Congeniality. I’m a brunette. I don’t really hate anybody. I mean, they try to make me hate people, but I still don’t.”

She bristles when asked who’s the biggest bitch on the show this season.

“In all honestly, a lot of girls do a lot of really bitchy things,” she says. “To be honest with you, I think that’s one thing that they’re striving for, is who can be the bigger bitch? But that’s not cool. People don’t like that. My virtual family, they don’t like bitches. They like the cool girl, and I’d rather be cool all day long. I don’t need to be a bitch. Why? Bitch may have sold before, but it doesn’t sell now. It’s a whole new year and a whole new season. It’s all about good people with good values.”

Sonja Confuses Snake Venom for Semen

When it comes to snakes, Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan is no expert.

When she and her castmates visit a snake charmer in Morocco, the 47-year-old reality star quickly notices that the snake is secreting a clear liquid.

"Is that venom or semen?" a confused Morgan asks.

"It's venom," LuAnn de Lesseps informs her.

Though their costars Jill Zarin and Alex McCord happily pose for photos with the reptile, Ramona Singer, Cindy Barshop and Kelly Bensimon are less enthusiastic about meeting the serpent.

"It freaked me out," Bensimon, 42, says. "Get the snake with the venom away!"

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Thursday on Bravo at 10 p.m. EST.
